Earlier this month, I checked out a Salesforce event here in Toronto. As a team of Salesforce experts, this entry level sales event trying to encourage Salesforce leads to close deals may seem a strange place to go, but for me, it is one of the best places to learn and grow. Too often we are diving deep into complex problems and forget about the beauty and simplicity that CRMs bring to our lives. For me personally, I love the look of Salesforce Lightning, however with the limitations compared to Classic, many of our clients have chosen to not make the change and risk functionality loss. Today however, I discovered one of the coolest features that I had not yet seen in Lightning that isn’t really revolutionary but the simplicity of it really struck me. It’s called the Kanban view.

For those who haven’t seen it yet, it came out in the Winter ’17 Release.

Kanban View
The Kanban View is something that everyone in Sales is always looking for, where are my leads, what is in my funnel and with the filtering capabilities, it becomes a really useful tool. Sure, it is something that you likely have already had built, but with it as a core pre-built easy to use view, I think it is one more reason to get excited about the switch to Lightning.

Be sure to give it a try!
